Our method

THE THINKING BEHIND EACH STEP

Parcelbrijollypigen.com helps infrequent senders prepare ordinary parcels with a little more confidence and fewer avoidable omissions.

Work in the order that packing happens.

Our guides begin with the shell, move through internal protection and measurement, then finish with labels, customs information and handover. That order helps you solve problems while they are still easy to fix. It is simpler to choose another box before printing a label than after booking the wrong dimensions.

We explain the reason behind a check. A box needs sound corners because it is a structure; a barcode needs a flat surface because it must be readable; a customs description needs detail because the goods must be identifiable.

Keep general guidance separate from service rules.

We are an independent information website. We are not a postal operator, courier, customs authority, insurer or shipment-booking service, and we are not affiliated with the organisations mentioned in our guides.

Carrier instructions and official destination rules take priority over our general examples. Royal Mail, USPS, Canada Post, DHL, UPS and FedEx operate different services with different conditions. A useful practice for one shipment is not automatically an acceptance rule for another.

Our examples are illustrative. The dimensional-weight calculator does not quote a price, confirm eligibility or apply every carrier’s rounding rules. Our checklist does not certify that packaging will prevent damage.

Make information useful without inventing certainty.

We favour plain instructions, specific cautions and links to official sources where requirements can change. We do not claim that every guide has been laboratory-tested or approved by a carrier. Packaging images are explanatory renders, not evidence of certified performance.

If you notice an unclear instruction or an outdated reference, prepare a correction message. Include the page name and a relevant official source where possible. Avoid sending tracking numbers, identity documents or a recipient’s private address.
